Launch of Wabar Ahmed Foundation
The official launch of the Wabar Ahmed Foundation, bringing together community elders, scholars, youth, and partners in Mogadishu.
On 6 March 2026, the Wabar Ahmed Foundation held its official launch ceremony in Mogadishu. Community elders, religious scholars, young volunteers, and local partners gathered to mark the beginning of a Somali-led foundation built on dignity, transparency, and community responsibility.
Speakers shared WAF’s vision — a Somalia where vulnerable families are supported with respect and where opportunity is widened for the next generation — and pledged that every campaign would be delivered honestly and reported back to the communities and donors who make the work possible.
