Udhiya 2026

Udhiya 2026

As part of our 2026 Udhiya Program, Wabar Ahmed Foundation (WAF) aims to distribute 150–200 sheep to vulnerable families across multiple regions in Somalia. This initiative is designed to support communities facing economic hardship, food insecurity, and the ongoing effects of drought and displacement. By providing livestock for Udhiya, the program ensures that disadvantaged families can participate in the spirit and blessings of Eid al-Adha, a time of compassion, generosity, and shared sacrifice.

Through this program, the meat will be distributed to low-income households, internally displaced persons (IDPs), widows, and orphan-headed families, ensuring that those most in need receive nutritious food during the festive period. The initiative not only addresses immediate food needs but also strengthens community solidarity, dignity, and social responsibility among families and neighborhoods.

WAF works closely with local community leaders and volunteers to identify eligible beneficiaries and ensure fair and transparent distribution. By reaching multiple regions, the program seeks to maximize impact and bring joy and relief to hundreds of families who might otherwise be unable to celebrate this important occasion.
